These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Snip It! mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by Snip It! ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them — we've written them in plain language.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Snip It!. By using the Service, you confirm that you are 13 or older. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian.
You may not use the Service if you have previously had an account terminated by us for violating these Terms.
Snip It! is designed to help you store, manage and redeem your personal coupons, vouchers and store credits. You agree to use it only for lawful, personal purposes.

Snip It! uses artificial intelligence to extract information from coupon photos. While our AI is accurate in the vast majority of cases, it is not perfect. Extracted details — including discount amounts, expiry dates and barcodes — may occasionally contain errors.
You are responsible for verifying coupon details with the retailer before relying on them for a purchase. We are not liable for any loss resulting from inaccurate AI-extracted information. If you notice an extraction error, you can manually edit the coupon details within the app.
You own your coupon data. By uploading photos to the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process those photos through our AI scanning service for the sole purpose of extracting coupon information for you. Photos are not retained after processing.
You can delete your content and your account at any time from within the app.
We aim to keep Snip It! available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates or repairs that result in temporary downtime. We are not liable for any inconvenience caused by planned or unplanned outages.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
All rights in the Snip It! app, website, logo, branding and technology are owned by or licensed to us. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our trademarks, logos or brand features without our prior written consent.
You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from the Service or its content without our explicit permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Snip It! and its owners, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
This includes, but is not limited to, losses resulting from: inaccurate AI scanning results, missed coupon expiry dates, data loss, or service outages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, given the Service is currently free, would be zero).
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Iceland, unless applicable consumer protection laws in your country provide you with additional rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify you within the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
