How do I scan a coupon?
Open the Snip It! app and tap the orange camera button (or the "+" icon) on the main screen. This opens the coupon scanner. Take a clear photo of your coupon — make sure the whole coupon is visible and well lit. Snip It! will automatically read the store name, discount, expiry date, and barcode. Review the extracted details and tap Save to add it to your wallet.
Why isn't my barcode showing?
There are a few reasons a barcode might not appear: (1) The barcode on the original coupon may have been partially obscured or damaged — try rescanning with better lighting. (2) Some coupons use a numeric or QR code rather than a traditional barcode; these are all supported. (3) If the coupon's barcode is very small, try cropping the photo tightly around the barcode before scanning. If you're still having trouble, email us at
support@snipit.app and attach a photo of the coupon.
Can I use the app on multiple devices?
Yes. Snip It! syncs your coupons automatically across all devices signed in to the same account. Add a coupon on your phone and it will appear on your tablet within seconds. Make sure you sign in with the same email address on each device.
How do I delete a coupon?
Open the coupon you want to delete and tap the menu icon (three dots) in the top-right corner, then tap Delete coupon. You can also swipe left on a coupon in the list view and tap the red delete button. Deleted coupons are moved to your Archive and permanently deleted after 30 days.
What happens when I redeem a coupon?
When you tap Redeem, the coupon's barcode is displayed full-screen at maximum brightness for the cashier to scan. After the screen closes (or you tap Done), the coupon is automatically moved to your Archive so your active wallet stays clean. Archived coupons can be viewed anytime in the Archive tab — they are not deleted unless you choose to delete them.

support@snipit.app with a description of what happened, what you expected to happen, and if possible a screenshot. Let us know the device model and operating system version you're using. We take bugs seriously and aim to address them quickly.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account and all associated data: go to
Settings (tap your profile icon), scroll to the bottom and tap
Delete Account, then confirm the action. This permanently and irreversibly deletes your account, all saved coupons, and your profile data from our servers. If you have trouble accessing your account, email
support@snipit.app and we will delete it for you manually within 48 hours.
